Retro Drive 2

I worked as a Game Designer and Narrative Designer on the currently unleased Retro Drive 2 - An open-world driving game set in a synthwave dystopia, made in Unreal Engine.
Due to NDA, I am unable to detail the exact content of what I worked on during my time on the project.
Areas Involved In:
- Worked on blockouts using level editing tools, designing environmental flow.
- Developed enemy AI behaviours using Blueprint scripting.
- Designed and implemented several engaging missions.
- Wrote character dialogue and extensive lore bible.
- Collaborated with Art, Code and Tech Designers.

- I took ownership of multiple gameplay features including a scripted sequence at the start of the tutorial, designed to teach players the controls and introduce them to core concepts such as boosting and collecting items.
- I worked closely with UI artists to present this information to the player in easily-digestible formats.

- I was responsible for playtestıng and collecting player feedback, both internally and externally, in order to assess the progress and user-friendliness of the game, collaborating with Code to rapidly iterate on core designs and mechanics.

- Provided detailed design and lore briefs to Level Designers and contributed to creation of distinct city sectors, each with their own unique environmental features.
- Blocked out mission flows and functionality within these spaces.
- Showcased the game to prospective publishers at Develop:Brighton Conference 2023
